Breaking: 24 year old RFA signs massive 5-year deal

The Minnesota Wild have reportedly signed Swiss forward Nino Niederreiter to a new long-term contract.

Niederreiter had a career season with 25 goals and 57 points in 82 games with the Wild. He's the first Swiss player to score 20 goals in the NHL, and has done so for three consecutive seasons. He'll be 25-years-old when the 2017/18 season begins, and played for the New York Islanders for two seasons before joining Minnesota in 2013.
