Elliotte Friedman has reported that an arbitrator has awarded defenseman Nate Schmidt with a two year deal worth 2.25 million per year with the Vegas Golden Knights.

Nate Schmidt spent the last two seasons with the Washington Capitals before being selected by the Golden Knights in the Expansion Draft.
