Last night the Chicago Blackhawks went into shootouts for the second time in a row but this time they were not able to get the win versus the Calgary Flames.
Unfortunately, it seems that every other game a Blackhawks player sustains an injury and this time its rookie Gustav Forsling that might need some time off.
Forsling left the ice and did not return for the third period, according to coach Q the rookie defenseman is "day to day" due to an upper body injury.
Hopefully Forsling won't miss out on too many games if any at all, he is still young and needs more time on the ice to get familiar with it compared to more veteran players such as Marian Hossa.
More updates on the injury to follow.
