The Washington Capitals will be without forward Andre Burakovsky and defenseman Madison Bowey to face the New Jersey Devils tonight. Both will be healthy scratches.
Burakovsky, 23, was drafted 23rd overvall by the Capitals in 2013. He played 215 games in the NHL so far, registering 103 points, and added ten points in 36 playoff games. This season, the Austrian forward has eight points in 19 games.
Bowey, 22, was drafted 53rd overall by Washington in 2013. He is playing his first season in the NHL this year, after he spent two seasons in the AHL. In 32 games played so far, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native has eight points and 18 penalty minutes.
The Capitals are currently second in the Metropolitan division with a record of 23-13-3.
