Bad news for the Boston Bruins and their fans.
Forward Patrice Bergeron left the team's practice on Tuesday, due to a lower-body injury. The club revealed that the veteran would be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
At the end of last season, Bergeron had revealed that he had played for the entire campaign while he suffered from a sports hernia. He underwent surgery last May.
In 79 games last season nonetheless, Bergeron recorded 21 goals and 53 points.
Let's hop he gets ready in time for the Bruins' season opener on Thursday against the Nashville Predators.
