Breaking: Bertuzzi heads back to minors

The Detroit Red Wings have announced that they have assigned forward Tyler Bertuzzi to the Grand Rapids, on Tuesday.

Earlier today, head coach Jeff Blashill said he still wasn't sure if Bertuzzi was going to play against the Boston Bruins tomorrow night.

Blashill says if Bertuzzi isn't in the lineup tomorrow against Boston, the #RedWings would send Bertuzzi back to Grand Rapids.

Bertuzzi only played one game with the Wings this season. He did not record a point.
