The Calgary Flames may have to answer to the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety for this one.
On Monday night the bad blood between these two teams boiled over, and unfortunately for Anaheim Ducks defenseman Kevin Bieksa, he appeared to get the worst of it.
Bieksa took a huge hit from behind courtesy of Calgary Flame Sam Bennett and unsurprisingly he was in a bad way after going face first into the boards. Given the recent history between these two teams and the lack of a call on the play itself, it seems likely that the NHL may have a second look at this hit.
