The St. Louis Blues have finally, mercifully relieved Mike Yeo of his head coaching duties. The news came just minutes after the team was shutout 2-0 by the 31st place Los Angeles Kings this evening. The Blues now last in the NHL’s Central Division with a dismal 7-9-3 record in 19 games.
Taking over for Yeo, at least in the interim, is assistant coach Craig Berube.
Blues general manager Doug Armstrong and new interim head coach Berube will hold a press conference tomorrow morning at 10am local time.
More to come on the fallout of this move and other potential changes coming in St. Louis.
