Breaking: Boston loses one of their top forwards after blatant knee on knee hit.

Fans in Boston are not going to be happy one bit about this hit, regardless of the outcome of tonight's game.

In the first period between the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins, Bruins forward David Krejci was the victim of a relatively blatant knee on knee hit from Ottawa Senator Chris Wideman.

While it's always extremely difficult to judge a player's intent, given the way that Wideman appears to stick his leg out on this play, it seems at the very least extremely reckless. 

Unfortunately for Boston Krejci, one of their best forwards, has left the game.
