Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney announced today the emergency recall of Jordan Szwarz from the Providence Bruins.

The 26-year-old forward has played 9 games this season with the big club, amassing 3 assists in that span. He has 8 points in 6 games in Providence.

Rob O'Gara was consequently sent back to the AHL. The 6 foot 4 defenseman played 8 games with the Bruins and will continue his trek in Providence, in hopes of a future recall this season.
