Breaking: Bruins reportedly close to signing star forward.

There is a huge rumor coming out of Boston. 

According to a report from NHL reporter Jimmy Murphy, the Boston Bruins are reportedly close to completing a deal with star forward David Pastrnak. 

Surprisingly Murphy is reporting that while he doesn't know the numbers for sure, based on the information he has received from a "little birdie" he expects the deal to be one that is the range of a 5-year-deal worth $5.8-$6 million per season.

While that's a high price tag it would be a great deal for the Bruins given that Pastrnak is coming off a season that saw him record 70 points in just 75 regular season games, and this for a player just entering the prime of his career.
