The Boston Bruins just got some huge news.
The Bruins have been without Patrice Bergeron, one of their best forwards if not their best, to start the regular season but that may finally be over, although it's still not quite 100% official. However comments from head coach Claude Julien regarding the status of Patrice Bergeron were very promising.
"Think he's on track to play tomorrow...we're hoping he'll be in the lineup," said Julien as per the Bruins.
Bergeron accounted for 68 points last season over his 80 games played for Boston, and as a man widely considered one of the best two-way forwards in all of hockey his impact on the team can not be understated.
There's no doubt that his return will prove to be huge for the Bruins whenever it's made official
