The Boston Bruins have announced that they have cut former first round pick Malcolm Subban (2012, 24th overall) from the team and have placed him on waivers with the purpose of assigning him to Providence.
It's becoming clearer and clearer that drafting goalies has little science to it - it's hard to predict how a goalie's success in the junior ranks can translate to the pro level.
With this news, Anton Khudobin rejoices as he has earned the backup role behind starting goalie Tuukka Rask.
Does Subban have what it takes to ever make the NHL?
