The Vancouver Canucks have recalled winger Reid Boucher from their AHL affiliate the Utica Comets.
In 10 games with the Comets so far this season, Boucher has three goals and 10 points, just two points shy of team leader Nikolay Goldobin. The 24-year-old forward had five goals and seven points in 27 games with the Canucks last season after being claimed off of waivers from the Nashville Predators.
Look for the kid to get a shot on the team’s fourth line, but he’ll have to put up some numbers if he expects to stick with the big club this time around.
