Breaking: Canucks make six cuts to preseason roster

The Vancouver Canucks, in Shanghai, China of all places preparing for the upcoming NHL China Games against the Los Angeles Kings, have announced the first round of cuts from their preseason roster.
Heading back to the junior hockey clubs in the CHL are the following six players:
Matt Brassard - D - Oshawa Generals
Cole Candella - D - Hamilton Bulldogs
Michael DiPietro - G - Windsor Spitfires
Jonah Gadjovich - LW - Owen Sound Attack
Kole Lind - RW - Kelowna Rockets
Dylan Plouffe - D - Vancouver Giants
While none of these cuts are particularly surprising, some of the players not included may come as a surprise to some. Still with the club are youngsters Olli Juolevi, Jordan Subban, Jonathan Dahlen, Griffen Molino, Michael Carcone and Cole Cassels among others
