Breaking: Canucks terminate Rodin’s contract

The Vancouver Canucks have announced that they’ve placed forward Anton Rodin on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his NHL contract

It’s expected that Rodin will go unclaimed and will move back to Sweden to continue his pro career.

In just three NHL games, Rodin has a single assist. The former 2nd round pick (53rd overall) was given chance after chance with the Canucks but injuries and bad luck seem to have hindered any chance he had at an NHL career.
