Breaking: Carey Price signs a massive contract extension!

The Montreal Canadiens have inked star goaltender to a eight-year, $84 millions contract extension. He is under contract with the organization until 2026. He will earn $10,5 million per season.

The team has announced the news on its official Twitter account, a few minutes ago.

Price recorded 37 wins, 20 losses and 5 overtime losses last season, as well as a goals-against average of 2.23 and a save percentage of .923. His best season was in 2014-2015, when he won the Hart Memorial, William M. Jennings and Vezina trophies, as well as the Ted Lindsay Award.
