The Montreal Canadiens have announced that David Schlemko will play his first game with the Habs tonight. However, head coach Claude Julien made a pretty controversial call, when he decided to scratch Victor Mete in order to make room for Schlemko.

In addition, Julien refused to confirm with whom Schlemko will be paired against the Ottawa Senators:
