Many fans were absolutely livid to know that Victor Mete was a healthy scratch for tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators. Especially considering that Joe Morrow played a very bad game on Monday, against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Habs' head coach Claude Julien decided to set the record straight just a couple of hours before the start of the game. He told reporters that he had a chat with Mete about him missing a second game this season. Here's what he said:
Considering that Morrow is more of an offensive-minded defenseman, many people suggested Mete should have taken his spot in the lineup.
