According to Detroit Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill, rookie forward Martin Frk will be out of the team’s lineup for approximately a week with a lower body injury.
This is not good news for a Wings team that’s been struggling for offense. The 24-year-old has six goals and nine points in 18 games so far this season and looked poised to hit at least 20 goals in his rookie campaign.
While there’s no exact timetable for Frk’s return, the injury is not serious and he shouldn’t miss any more than a few games. Get well soon, Martin!
