Breaking: Connor McDavid dresses up as President Donald Trump for Halloween.

Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid isn't shying away from controversy with his Halloween costume this season, and it's likely for that reason that it will be a memorable one. 

McDavid's girlfriend Lauren Kyle recently published a picture of the couple on her Instagram account and it showcases their Halloween costume, or at least one of their costumes, for this Halloween season.

In the photograph McDavid is dressed as President of the United States Donald Trump and Lauren looks absolutely ravishing as First Lady Melania Trump, and together they pull the whole thing off pretty well.

While McDavid will almost certainly receive some backlash given the current political climate, it's important to remember that this is a couple's Halloween costume and not a political statement.
