It looks like the Chicago Blackhawks will play without their star goaltender for a while.
Hawks' head coach Joel Quenneville said today that the 32-year-old netminder will have to miss at least three games, and that he will be re-evaluated later on. Here's what he said, as reported by Chicago Sun Times' Mark Lazerus:
Crawford played parts of 21 games this year, and has a record of 11-7-2. He posted a goals against average of 2.29 and a save percentage of .930.
This is the perfect occasion for Anton Forsberg to prove himself, and to show what he can do as a starter.
