After losing their top-4 defenseman Jonas Brodin for a month, the Minnesota Wild decided to recall an interesting prospect from the AHL.

Mike Reilly's been recalled this morning to fill up the free spot left by Brodin in the defensive squad.

Reilly's been named twice as top NCAA defensive player from 2013 to 2015. This year with Iowa Wild , he registered 4 goals and 11 assists in 29 games

Reilly played earlier in the season in Minnesota but has yet to score a goal or notch an assist. After a 9 games stint, Reilly was sent back to Iowa on November 22nd.

It's been two months since his last NHL game, hopefully, the kid is ready for the big game tonight against the Arizona Coyotes!
