The Detroit Red Wings have reportedly signed star forward Tomas Tatar to a four-year, $21,2 million contract according to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman. The annual average value is $5.3 million.
The 26-year-old winger recorded 25 goals and 21 assists for 46 points in 82 games last season. He was drafted in the second round of the 2009 NHL draft by Detroit. Since then, he played 345 NHL games, in which he amassed 99 goals and 95 assists for 194 points, as well as 112 penalty minutes.
