Breaking: Devils defenceman had to leave the ice on a stretcher!

The New-jersey Devils defenceman, John Moore had to leave the game (this afternoon) on a stretcher after receiving a terrible hit from Tom Wilson. Moore laid on the ice for a while before being helped by the trainers. He hopefully appeared to be able to move his fingers but this is a scary scene.

Moore appeared to be talking to the trainers while on the ice, according to Deb Kaufman. 

There was no penalty on the play.

Moore scored 5 goals and added 8 helpers this year for 13 points in 35 games and was an important piece of the New-Jersey's defense.
