Breaking: Disaster for Vancouver as tests reveal a major injury.

The Canucks have been struggling as of late and things just got much worse.

According to a report from Vancouver Canucks insider Ben Kuzma of Postmedia, the team has lost the services of veteran defenseman Jannik Hansen for a period of four to six weeks.

We learned earlier in the week that Hansen was headed back to Vancouver for further testing and it appears that those tests revealed a rib fracture. Hansen suffered the injury when he took a big hit from Leafs' defenseman Morgan Rielly during the Canucks' game in Toronto this past Saturday.

A big time loss for Vancouver.
