Breaking: Draisaitl makes shocking declaration about latest injury!

Edmonton Oilers fans and management were more than worried when it was announced that star forward Leon Draisaitl had suffered an eye injury and a concussion during the game against the Winnipeg Jets last Monday.

Daisaitl missed several practices and two contests since he was sidelined. Now the 21-year-old revealed to Sportsnet's Mark Spector that he suffered the concussion during the first period of the game. He mentioned it happened on a hit by Jacob Trouba.

He did however finish the game...

The young forward did join the Oilers on their trip, and could make a return on Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

No Draisaitl or Caggiula (both concussed) for OIlers tonight.
No Matt Benning (ill) either, who has improved.
Some could play in PHI on Sat.
