Breaking: Ducks place goalie on waivers
The veteran has only played 2 games in Anaheim.

The Anaheim Ducks have decided to place goalie Reto Berra on waivers today.
This news comes in the wake of Ryan Miller being fully healthy to back up John Gibson. The team had been carrying three goaltenders for a short while.
Berra's $700,000 cap hit will be fully buried in the minors if he clears the waiver wire, but with a team like Vegas Golden Knights playing with 4th and 5th string goalies, it's entirely possible that George McPhee picks up the Swiss veteran.
He stated yesterday that he would not acquire any goalies, but presumably he meant by trade. If a cheap emergency NHL goalie is available on the waiver wire, you can bet he'll have his hands on him.
Stay tuned tomorrow to see if Berra clears.
