Breaking: First overall pick Connor McDavid injured after violent crash against the boards.

This is worst case scenario if you're an Edmonton Oilers fan.

While it's not clear yet what the nature of the injury to first overall pick Connor McDavid is at this time, it does appear that he injured his shoulder or collarbone when he crashed into the boards tonight. You can clearly see McDavid pointing to that area in the video below.

McDavid was driving the net with two Flyers all over him when he appeared to be dragged down by a tug on his jersery or pants from Flyer Brandon Manning, and brought all three players down to the ice, resulting in a violent crash.
