Hamilton was acquired last saturday from the Boston Bruins for a first and second round pick in last weekend's draft.
Since the trade, reports out of Boston claim Hamilton wasn't appreciated by his former teammates. The 22-year-old defenseman had 42 points in 72 games in Boston last season.
