The Calgary Flames officially assigned goaltender Eddie Lack to the Stockton Heat (AHL), the team announced on Friday. Lack was placed on waivers yesterday and no team claimed him, which means the Swedish goaltender will now report to the Flames farm team.

Lack, 29, was signed as a undrafted free agent by the Vancouver Canucks organization in 2010. He played two seasons in the NHL with Vancouver, before being traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in 2014, and he was traded to the Flames last summer.

Things didn't go well for him in Calgary, where he owned a 1-2-0 record with a 5.29 goals-against average and a .813 save percentage. In 139 starts in the NHL, Lack has a record of 55-53-18 with a 2.61 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage.
