The Philadelphia Flyers have assigned veteran defenseman TJ Brennan to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL), the team announced on Friday. The 28-year old defenseman did not play a game with the Flyers this season. He score two goal and added 13 assists for 15 points in 17 games with the Phantoms.

Drafted 31st overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 2007, Brennan played 53 games in the NHL with the Sabres, the Florida Panthers and the Toronto Maple Leafs, registering 13 points.

At the AHL level, the Willingboro, New Jersey native registered 432 points in 589 games played (regular season and playoffs included).
