The Philadelphia Flyers recalled defenseman Samuel Morin, the team announced on Sunday.
Morin, 22, was drafted 11th overall by the Flyers in 2013. He played the last two seasons with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL), registering 35 points in 150 games. He also added 247 penalty minutes. He played one game with the Flyers last season, without registering a point. The 6'6", 202 pounds defenseman registered four points in eight games so far this season in the AHL.
Will he be able to earn a regular spot in the NHL?
