The Philadelphia Flyers have struggled for some time to find consistent goaltending, and they may be hoping that this offseason will be the answer to those woes.

While the Flyers, like every other team in the National hockey League, will not be able to officially announce any signings prior to July 1st, Andy Strickland of Fox Sports is reporting that the Flyers have in fact agreed to terms with a brand new goaltender.

According to Strickland, the Flyers have come to terms on a two-year deal with veteran goalie Brian Elliott and that deal will pay Elliott $2.75 million.

Again this is not official, but it seems rather solid considering the source.
