Former Vancouver Canucks forward Jack Skille has been suspended two games on Friday by the Kontinental Hockey League.

On the video below, you can see Skille skate next to a referee and he appears to slew foot the official, who fell hardly on the ice.

Back in September, Skille signed a contract with Dinamo Minsk. Many fans are seeing the trip as an accidental incident and find the league's decision unfair.

In 368 NHL career games with the Chicago Blackhawks, Florida Panthers, Colorado Avalanche, Columbus Blue Jackets and Canucks, Skille recorded 34 goals and 84 points overall. In 19 games with Minsk, he amassed five goals and 11 points.

Skille was selected seventh overall by the Hawks in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
