For months we heard rumors that this was going to happen, but then suddenly it all died down.

This time however, it seems like a done deal, and it sounds like former superstar Alexander Radulov is in fact making a comeback to the National Hockey League. According to a report from Aivis Kalnins the Russian forward has rejected the latest offer from CSKA Moscow and is now fielding offers from NHL teams, according to Kalnins Radulov is looking for a "contending team."

Radulov struggled to make his incredible talent translate at an NHL level, not that he wasn't successful but he wasn't nearly as dominant as he demonstrated he could be in Juinor or on the International stage. With that said, Radulov has excelled during his time in the KHL, and clearly NHL teams have kept their eye on him in the event of a possible return.

According to a comment from Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman in his 30 Thoughts article, Colorado is a likely destination, but multiple teams are currently involved.

Europeans to monitor: Word is Alexander Radulov’s representation is poking around, gauging interest. Everyone assumes Colorado, but there are more teams. I’m very curious to see what kind of commitment he gets.

It could be a huge free agent signing for whoever lands him.
