BREAKING : Giroux gets a chance to rebuild confidence.

After having one of his worst year in the league and battling through injuries, Claude Giroux elected to take part in the upcoming World Championship for Canada anyway. Although some Canadian superstars are still battling it out in the Playoffs, the current national team roster is filled with talents. 

Nonethless, Claude Giroux was named team captain today. 

This is actually a very good thing for Giroux. Team Canada has decent chances to win the thing and he badly needs a victory. If everything goes well, he could come back to Philly with a golden medal around his neck. It could be a very good confidence booster for him and the whole Flyers organization.
