He gets another chance in the NHL!

The Vegas Golden Knights have recalled forward Stefan Matteau from the Chicago Wolves (AHL), the team announced on Monday night. Matteau has registered five points in 19 games played in the AHL so far this season. 

The Chicago, Illinois native was drafted 29th overall by the New Jersey Devils in 2012. He played 56 games in the NHL with the Devils and the Montreal Canadiens, registering six points. At the AHL level, he registered 88 points in 223 games played (regular season and playoffs included).

The Golden Knights signed him as a free agent last summer.

So far this season, he has four goals and one assist in 19 games in the AHL.
