The Las Vegas Golden Knights announced a pair of significant moves on Saturday.

According to a report from the team's official website, the Golden Knights have signed both forward Brendan Leipsic and defenseman Griffin Reinhart to new two-year deals.

Leipsic is a former Nashville Predators third round pick who last played at the National Hockey League level during the 2015-2016 season as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs. In his 49 games with the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies last season he recorded 18 goals and 33 assists for 51 points. He will earn an average annual value of $650,000.

Reinhart on the other hand is a former New York Islanders first round draft selection and much like Leipsic Reinhart has not played in an NHL regular season game since the 2015-2016 season. He did however play well for the Bakersfield Condors at the AHL level this past season, picking up 7 goals, 14 assists and a plus minus rating of +8 over 54 games. He will earn an average annual value of $800,000.

Both men are 23 years of age and both were selected in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
