The Vancouver Canucks will have to do without the services of defenseman Erik Gudbranson for multiple weeks, according to Travis Green.
The rugged defenseman appeared to have injured his shoulder during Wednesday night's match against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and is now listed as week-to-week with an upper-body injury.
Green is hoping the injury only keeps Gudbranson out for 2 weeks.
Scoreless through 21 games, Gudbranson has 29 penalty minutes and is a +2.
He's been involved in trade discussions as of late, with the possibility of him being shipped back to the Florida Panthers being a distinct possibility.
