BREAKING: HBK reunion for Pens in game 6?

With a second opportunity to stomp out the Washington Capitals for good, the Pittsburgh Penguins will be returning to a familiar trio to help guide them. NHL.com writer Tom Gulitti reported from the team’s skate this morning that head coach Mike Sullivan will roll out a third line that consists of Carl Hagelin, Nick Bonino and Phil Kessel, otherwise known as The HBK Line.

The trio was tremendous last post-season in the Penguins run to the Stanley Cup championship and have been used sporadically throughout the season when needed. One thing they give the team is blazing speed. Both Hagelin and Kessel are considered two of the fastest skaters in the NHL and Boninio is no slouch either. The Capitals will no doubt have to alter their game plan for tonight’s game to counter their speed and game-breaking ability.
