Breaking: Housley updates Beaulieu's status for tonight!

The Buffalo Sabres have been dealing with injuries to multiple top six defensemen on the team, but coach Phil Housley provided some pretty good news this morning out of practice.

Nathan Beaulieu suffered an upper-body injury back on October 20th in a loss against the Vancouver Canucks and hasn't played since.

The puck-moving defenseman acquired from the Montreal Canadiens before the expansion draft has shown some good flashes of what he can provide to the Sabres.

With Rasmus Ristolainen's injury status downgraded to week-to-week, his presence in the lineup will be very welcome.

Beaulieu has 2 assists in 8 games this season.
