The Las Vegas Golden Knights have just made a huge announcement, one that is sure to draw in even more curious eyes to their new National Hockey League franchise.
In an official release, tje Golden Knights have announced a partnership with arguably the most popular live show on the entire planet Cirque Du Soleil. From the Golden Knights press release:
Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz announced today, March 23, that the team has signed a multi-year partnership with Cirque du Soleil. The partnership will run for three seasons, beginning with the team's inaugural 2017-2018 season.
"Cirque du Soleil is an iconic, worldwide entertainment brand and we are thrilled to partner with them in this capacity," said Vegas Golden Knights Vice President of Global Partnerships Michael Mungiello. "Cirque du Soleil has had a significant presence in Las Vegas since 1992 and continues to be one of the most popular entertainment options in town. We are always looking for creative ways to enhance the overall fan experience at our home games and this partnership certainly helps advance that objective."
As part of the partnership, fans who attend games will be treated to performances from the world renowned circus troop during intermissions and special events. On top of that there will be 4 specially branded Cirque Du Soleil nights every season while the partnership is in effect.
The Golden Knights had already sold a huge number of season tickets, making this appear to be just a wonderful move from the organization to add more vlaue to the product for their fans. We expect this will be extremely well received.
