The Pittsburgh Penguins are rolling with Tristan Jarry in net while Matt Murray recovers from injury. This scene is all too familiar - Murray stepped in as a rookie back when Marc-Andre Fleury was injured as a former Penguin, and stole the show.
Murray had skated recently for the first time after suffering an injury late last month, and has now finally joined the team for a morning skate prior to a match against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight.
Murray still isn't ready to dress as far as we know, but this is huge progress in his recovery. Jarry has held down the fort well in his absence, and has proved that he is an NHL-ready goaltender.
While Murray's 11-7-1 record and average stat line doesn't scream confidence, fans and the team alike will be happy to see him in full health in short order.
