Breaking: Huge update on Bergeron's injury status!

The Boston Bruins had a very subtle way of indicating that their star player, Patrice Bergeron, will make his season debut tonight against the Vancouver Canucks.

Bergeron, who has 671 points in his NHL career, is set to start his 900th game tonight after being out with a lower-body injury over the last 5 games.

He was listed as a game-time decision by head coach Bruce Cassidy and he donned a red non-contact jersey at practice this morning. It didn't seem promising that he would start today given that fact, but he appears ready to go nonetheless.

With Tuukka Rask and Ryan Spooner out long term, this is very welcome news for the Bruins.
