Breaking: Huge update on Jonathan Drouin's injury
Keystone Press

Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin X-rays revealed no fracture after he left Saturday's game against the Anaheim Ducks with an upper-body injury. Drouin received a shot from teammate Karl Azner in the back. He left after the second period and was seen leaving the arena in street clothes, to go to the hospital. He will be reevaluated tomorrow before the game against the Ottawa Senators.

Here's the sequence that lead to Drouin's injury.

Montreal won that game by a score of 4-2. Goaltender Aanti Niemi made 43 saves and was named the first star of the game.

The Canadiens will play against the Ottawa Senators tomorrow afternoon. Drouin will likely be a game-time decision.
