While some may view it as bad luck, it's a telling sign when despite playing in the NHL for several years Evander Kane has never completed a full NHL season.

The Buffalo Sabres forward was injured once again when he took a big hit from New Jersey's David Schlemko and now it looks like he will miss significant time as his body has once again broken down.

According to a report from Buffalo Sabres head coach Dan Byslma Kane will miss at least for weeks due to an MCL injury he suffered as a result of the hit, that timeline however could be pushed back as far as six weeks depending on his recovery.

One of the main concerns for the Sabres when they traded for Kane was the fact that he has demosntrated he is injury prone, and now it may be coming back to haunt them.
