A few teams inquired, but they've been turned down

We are slowly but surely heading forward to two crucial date for every NHL team: Expansion draft and July 1st.

Elliotte Friedman, Sporsnet and Hockey Night in Canada top insider, has asked if there was any chance Oliver Ekman-Larsson is available and was told no. He also came back on the fact that the Arizona Coyotes just signed his brother Kevin Ekman-Larsson to an AHL contract.

As reported earlier by Friedman, Dallas were among the teams who inquired but have been turned down quickly.

However (food for thought) PK wasn't available last summer either and the Arizona Coyotes have a good forward group. If they can get a solid goalie they're in decent shape for the future.
