The Winnipeg Jets have announced that they’ve demoted forward Brendan Lemieux to the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.

The 21-year-old son of former NHL great Claude Lemieux played seven games with the Jets during this stint, scoring a single goal. He also has five points in five games for the Moose this season.

The former 2nd round pick (31st) overall of the Buffalo Sabres in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft was acquired by the Jets in a February, 2015 trade.
