Big decision from the head coach.

The Chicago Blackhawks have what would seem to be a big decision on their hands, but it doesn't sound like there's any doubt in the mind of head coach Joel Quenneville.

19-year-old Blackhawks rookie forward Alex DeBrincat has played in 9 regular season games already this season, meaning that playing one more game would burn the first year on his entry-level-contract with the Blackhawks, but it sounds like that is of little concern to the Quenneville.

A report from Blackhawks insider Mark Lazerus of The Athletic has indicated that the Blackhawks coach has confirmed that DeBrincat "isn't going anywhere" somewhat unsurprising given his performance thus far.

DeBrincat has already contributed a goal and three assists for 4 points in his first 9 career games in the National Hockey League and he seems destined to be a big part of the Blackhawks offense for the forseeable future.
